The Story Behind Hip Hop Drum Beats
Nowadays hip hop is more than just drum beats, producers also use baselines and melodies in order to make beats. But it all started with the drums, for which hip hop music is known the most. Disc jockeys used to sample and isolate drums from music tracks, mostly from soul and funk music, to make their own, new sound. This was popular in the 80's, when people gathered together on block parties and used to dance on these new drum beats. Later on, the Djs started to scratch, put instrument sounds and vocals on their beats. The result was a new music genre named hip hop.
The hip hop music went through a lot of changes, but the drums are still the heart of this genre. Even big producers still work with drum machines and MPCs, like Kanye West for example. And the result is very good! It's really amazing how something that simple can become and stay so popular and move so many people all around the globe! Now, rap artists come from everywhere, Germany, Russia or Japan...
Some people say hip hop is dead, or is going to die out soon. But I don't think this is true. It has become an integral part of the music industry and it will be that way. Every year new hip hop artists come on the scene, and they are as successful as the artists in every other genre. If you are fascinated about music, like me, and especially about hip hop, you want to be part of this movement!
Either you are a rapper, singer, producer or you want to do it all yourself, there's no better time to start making your own music than now! If you are rapping or singing, you need to practice, so you have your own style, and that's the most important part. Start with freestyling over different instrumental beats, and then, when you're ready to make your own song, look for beat selling pages, let's take „beats4tracks.com“ as an example, here you can listen to samples and buy the instrumentals for an accordingly low price. If you want to produce your own beats, you should look for a good and easy to use beat making software, DUBturbo or Fruity Loops for example. You might want to read my other articles on how to make your own beats.
Just try it out! Get yourself a free demo or software if you're not sure about paying money for a product, there's plenty good software out there. Feel the vibe and let it inspire you, it's really fun!

Artist Song Demos - How To Break Through And Sell Your Songs!
As writers, it’s often difficult to be objective about writing and any aspect related to writing and creating the demos that are used to shop songs. As a former talent booking agent with the William Morris Agency, I can tell you that with all of the vast array of talent and gifted writers, only a few make it to the inner circle. There are various reasons for this, but none that come close to what we will spend the remaining time in this article talking about. Many a hopeful writer and artist walked through the doors of William Morris only to find that the magic they thought they had come upon, vanished in a moments notice. Why is that? Why do some get the writers and artist deals with virtually no writing innovation, while others, with up in your face talent, not getting the due recognition and artist album cuts so richly deserved? Let’s spend a few minutes together talking through a few basic concepts to hopefully get you moving in the right direction.
As founder of ReelMusician.com, it is and has always been my goal to see rising talent succeed and make it to the top. We strive to always remain approachable, authoritative with music industry resources and information and provide relevant services such as creating master quality song demos for rising song writers, top notch jingle demos for singers trying to break into singing commercials and effective press kit writing for artists trying to establish their careers. We are already in that mode of how to help singers and writers break through, which is the foundation to why we exist and with all of that in mind, I want to share with you some ideas that will help you get your career jump-started.
Always remember that content is king. You can’t very easily take a story without a decent plot and try to pitch it. Same thing holds true for your writing and career. One of the problems today, is that many would be artists and writers clutter the playing field by utilizing technological advances and use their friends computer, keyboard and mic to record music and think they have a chance. And because music equipment and software has become so affordable, many who would not ordinarily approach the idea of writing or becoming an artist now feel that they have to have their chance at stardom and so the A

Hip-Hop Music And Dance Style
The hip-hop culture is about twenty years old. Yes, it is more like a culture. Hip Hop is just not music it is far more than just music, lyrics and videos. There are many people, who even today think that hip-hop is just something about a Rap producers and artist.
The Hip-hop dance basically originated in New York by some young African-American and Hispanic men during the period of late 1960s, it was originated as part of the hip-hop culture of graffiti art, rap and scratch music. The hip-hop dance always keeps changing but it is essentially embraced by two different styles one is of break dance and another is body popping. The break dance you can say is a form of athletic solo in which the dancer or the performer enters in to the dance arena in a sideways motion and then breaks or dives to the floor, then spins around on his shoulders, head or buttocks and ends up with a freeze position. Body popping whereas involves a series of very fast, sharp actions those travel all through the body much in a way as robotic-looking alternations of moves and then freeze. The hip-hop dance and hip-hop music became internationally popular since late 1970s and now, it is often incorporated into theatre dance.
The main aspect of hip hop music and dancing that makes the style would be the passion for dancing as well as expressing your emotions. It is always good to have some kind of skills like technique only thing is the way you can develop the movements is just by believing in yourself and also feeling those emotions and at the same time have fun and feel the beats as well.
Hip hop is considered as a musical genre which is developed as part of the hip hop culture, and it is defined by some key stylistic components like rapping, scratching DJing, sampling, beat boxing etc . Rapping which is also referred to as MCing or even emceeing it is basically a vocal style where in the artist speaks or sings lyrically, in rhyme and in verse, usually to synthesized beat or an instrumental beats. Beats are always of about 4/4 time signature, and looping different portions of various other songs, usually done by a DJ, can form them or the producer samples it from portions of some songs. Today’s modern beats mostly incorporate drum machines, synthesizers as well as live bands. Rappers write, improvise or memorize their lyrics and perform to a beat.

The Only Way To Get Rich In The Music Industry
Unless you have spent the majority of your life living under a rock then you should be familiar with the saying, “If you want anything done right – you need to do it yourself!”
This may very well be one of the most valid sets of words ever spoken. Those words apply to the music industry like a hand in a glove.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to grow up around the music industry, and experience firsthand all of the ins-and-outs of the game. I have been to all of the work shops, I have read the books, I have purchased the e-books. After all of that I am embarrassed to say that very few individuals actually have a clue on how to break into the industry.
Well my friend, if you are at all serious about breaking into the music industry you need to continue reading this article. All I ask of you is to read it with an open mind.
Here we go:
First and foremost let me break it down in simple terms… You (the independent artist) are a small business. As a small business you have to learn how to do many jobs. Some jobs you can’t wake up in the morning and get started on. Others jobs will make you feel like you want to jump out of a window and you will hate every second of it.
The major distributors and record labels are like the bank, or a team of investors. The only thing that they care about is the bottom line. At the end of the day all they want to see is a positive return on their investment.
Are you still with me so far? Ok… Good! Keep reading…
Unless you have millions of dollars lying around the house collecting dust sooner or later you are going to need to hook up with the majors. There are a few different ways that you can do this but for right now I want to keep it as simple as possible.
Nine out of ten independent artist, have this misconception that the music business is about 90% talent and 10% business. That is so far from the truth that it is ridiculous. The truth is it’s totally the opposite. The music industry is 90% business and 10% talent. Out of 100 independent artist that I have interviewed 99% of them create a demo and submit it to every record label on the planet. Then they walk around telling everyone that they are about to get a record deal soon. To put it nicely – “IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!”
Remember a few moments ago I told you that the record label is like a bank? Well that is the truth and you have to approach them in the same manner.
Here is what most artist are doing… They go to the bank (the major labels, distributors etc…) thinking that they are going to get a small business loan (a cash advance). The first thing the bank wants to know is what type of assets do you have (why should they invest in you.) The artist confidently states that they have a double platinum record on their hands and they know that it will make tons of money.
Although though the bank is laughing inside the banker will ask does the artist have proof of his or her claim (Can you prove that your record will defiantly sell.) The banker will want to see your business plan i.e. how much money have you made on your own. How large is your current fan base. How many units have you sold without them etc..
Now the savvy artist thinks that they can out smart the banker by lying about their credentials, not realizing that they are masters at this game. The artist will boast about their live performances, how many units they have sold etc… But when the banker ask for proof, the gig is up. If you do not have press coverage, sound scan print outs you have no loan – translation. Your not going to get a record deal.
I think it was Bill Gates who said if you build it they will come. Take a look at Microsoft – that is more than enough proof. Bill Gates created an interface that made the computer simple enough that a monkey could use it and the whole world purchased it.
The same is true with your music career. If you build it they will come (the record labels). It’s not that hard to build a lucrative music career, it is however extremely time consuming.
If you are reading this you should already have a finished product. That is what you are going to build your initial business plan around. The first thing you have to do is build the foundation.
You foundation is your own domain name. Most artist make the mistake by only having a myspace.com page which is good, but extremely risky to your music career.
What if you build your entire fan base and have them use to coming to MySpace to find out what is going on with your music career and MySpace decides to sale the company, or worse yet their company folds.
I know some of you are probably saying “Fat Chance of MySpace Closing.” That’s the same thing that millions of others said when MP3.com collapsed. I personally know individuals who lost thousands of dollars because they trusted in MP3.com.
One close friend of mine lost his house and his car, because he built his entire career around MP3.com.
Take a little time and think about the things I have discussed in this article and look out for more articles from me soon.

What Is Music Copyright Law?
With the popularity of the Internet, many people are violating music copyright law and do not even know it. music copyright law can be very tricky. There are multiple music copyrights that you must keep in mind – lyrics, composition and the recording of the music by an artist. Using someone’s music may involve you acquiring many different licenses such as mechanical, synchronization, performance and publishing licenses.
music copyright law has separate copyrights for the vocal or instrumental recordings of a composition or performance and the copyright of the written lyrics and music. Standard music copyrighting practices usually entail that the writer of the song retains the rights to the right to the music composition which the studio that did the recording of the music holds the rights of the recording. music copyright law can get very complicated. It can involve negotiations with the writers, producers, agents, heirs and more.
Many artists and studios are upset with the decline in music sales. They are attributing this decline to people who are violating copyright laws by downloading music on the Internet. music files are under the same copyright law as music recordings and the owners of these copyrights are entitled to royalties or compensation for the music that people are illegally downloading on the Internet.
The simple fact is you are stealing if you make copies of copyrighted music recordings without authorization. If people were sued for the music they had downloaded illegally, it could result in thousands of dollars. music copyright law states that it is illegal to duplicate and distribute creative work. If you send someone an email with a song that you have illegally downloaded on the Internet, you could be in for some serious trouble. To put it bluntly and plainly, if you download (or upload) music that is copyrighted without permission, you are breaking the law.
Many people violate music copyright law and do not even understand how their actions are criminal. If you purchase a music CD you can make a copy of it for yourself on your MP3. However , if you then use that recording and put it on your website or blog and make it available for everyone to download, you are performing an illegal act. Even if you join a site and pay a fee to download music, you are in violation of music copyright law.
This may sound like something that would never come back to haunt you. After all, if you were caught, it would be a first time offense, right? Well, you should know that there have been first time offenders who have been fined up to $250, 000 and up to five years in jail for violating music copyright law. It is so much easier to go out and pay 20 bucks for a CD.
Whether you are uploading music or downloading music, educate yourself on music copyright law. No one wants to ruin their financial future and face jail time. Enjoy music, just do it the right way!
How to Choose the Perfect Songs for your Wedding Reception
Sometimes finding the right songs for the biggest moments of your wedding can be a daunting task. After all, there’s much you need to consider (like you don’t have enough stuff to stress out about already! ).
Have no fear; it doesn’t have to be a stressful situation. Here are some things to consider when choosing those special songs for your big day.
Bridal Dance – This is THE most important song of the night. Next to seeing you kiss at the altar at the end of the ceremony, this is the one of your most romantic events; your big moment alone on the dance floor. So the song has to be special.
There are three very important things to remember when choosing songs. These may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised. Plus these “rules” apply to any song chosen for any of the ceremonial dances.
1 . Make sure the song you choose is one that the two of you can actually dance to! You may be able to tear up a dance floor, but your groom may have two left feet. Picking a song with an odd tempo may make him feel awkward, especially out on a dance floor in front of his friends and family. Try to keep it simple.
2 . Make sure both of you actually LIKE the song. For example , you may really like Lonestar’s “Amazed”, but if country music makes your groom’s teeth itch, you need to choose another song. Or, he may really like that “one” Metallica ballad, but you hate it. Next, please.
3. Is the song appropriate for a bridal dance? Let’s face it…you may both really like the song, but “Love Bites” by Def Leppard does NOT make a good bridal song. Don’t laugh…it’s happened! (And there were many rather confused wedding guests that night).
Still, sometimes you may think that you don’t have a song that is “yours”. What was the first song the two of you danced to? Is there a ballad by an artist that the two of you are big fans of? Was there a song playing in the background the night he proposed to you? These are things to think about.
If that doesn’t seem to work, start listening to songs on the radio a bit closer. Listen to the lyrics. Eventually you will find a song that will express what you want to say to each other on your wedding day…and that’s your song!
Another thing you may want to consider is the length of the song. “In Your Eyes” may be the perfect song for you, but the track is nearly 6 minutes long. That’s a long time to be out there - the two of you…alone with everyone’s eyes upon you…feeling paranoid yet? Don’t be afraid to ask your DJ to fade the song out early.
The main thing to remember - this is your big moment. Make it special not only for you, but for your guests as well.
Bridal Party Dance – The first question we often get regarding this song is “Does the bride

How To Stop Your Site Disappearing Into The Void
Repetition is the key to getting your adverts and promotion efforts noticed but when does repetition become over saturation which inevitably leads to boredom? Boredom and apathy. This is one of the biggest challenges you'll face when promoting your site in the hit exchanges. So how do you cut through this and get people to read your message and take an interest in what you're advertising?
There are three tips listed below on how to make your site stand out and draw people in to see what you're offering, but before reading and applying them, you might find it useful to ask yourself this question: What would make a fellow surfer visit my site even if the incentive of getting a visitor back to their page didn't exist?
This last point is pivotal to successful hit exchange promotion. The "What's In It For Me? " (WIIFM) factor has already been satisfied to a large extent, by the fact that the people that visit your page will be getting a guaranteed hit back to theirs. You need to work hard to fuel their desire, interest and curiosity even more!
So whilst using the tips listed in this article, try and shape your hit exchange promotion with this in mind. It will help you to come up with the biggest benefits that people will gain from visiting your site AND reading your offer.
1) Be unusual
Create interest by writing curious, unusual headlines with pizzaz! Wake people up. Surfers are often in a trance like state and in a flow that you need to wake them out of.
In an article called "The Hypnotic Power Of Confusion", by Dr . Joe Vitale, he speaks about the power of confusion to get hold of people's attention, and more importantly to then embed within their minds, suggestions as to what you'd like them to do next. 123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 It's a hypnotic technique that helps to make the mind more susceptible to commands and suggestions. If your interested in finding out more about this, you'll find a treasure trove of information at http://self-hypnosis.co.uk
I've tried it out and it seems to be working! "Are You Eating A Banana Or Surfing For Credits? " Huh? "Download Your Fre*e Report On How To Get The Most Out Of Your Hit Exchange Promotion! ". Does it work on you? Would you be more likely to pay attention to this page and maybe even download the report if you saw this headline whilst surfing? Or would you, very quickly, click away from it?!
Headlines that speak directly to surfers are also good attention grabbers. I've seen some nice examples of this whilst surfing such as:
"Wake Up Surfers" (and lo and behold, I did wake up! ), "Attention Hi*t Exchange Surfers! " and "Are You Still Having Fun Clicking? "
2) Be original
It seems that every other page being promoted in the hit exchanges is an affiliate site. Unless its for a relatively new program or the program has a variety of sites you can choose to promote, people are going to get weary of seeing the same pages over and over and over again.
Whilst repetition is important so that people become aware of a product or service, over saturation can sound the death knell for your promotion activities.
If you're an affiliate, you need to create your own page, with your own take on the benefits of the program, product or service you're promoting. Write your own recommendation and if possible, add on a freebie as an incentive for people to join through YOUR link.
Or offer a free gift in exchange for people's email addresses and then follow up with your product/program recommendations.
3) Be short

Hookah Lounges: An Overview
The tobacco used in hookahs is different than that associated with cigarettes, or, indeed, any other form of smoking. It is, traditionally, a damp blend--called tobamel or maassel--of fresh tobacco leaves with molasses or honey and semi-dried fruit or fruit pulp. Some smokers would add pomegranate juice or perhaps rose oil to the water, which added flavor to the smoke. Later, hookah tobacco was also mixed with fruit extracts, and in the 1980s tobacconists began experimenting with various flavors, so that now a virtual smorgasbord of highly aromatic hookah tobacco is widely available.
While some hookah smokers still prefer a strong Turkish tobacco, many delight in the large assortment of flavored tobaccos, often called shisha. The dark, wet mixture comes in flavors ranging from apple, cherry, apricot, and watermelon, to rose, jasmine, vanilla, honey, and licorice, with more exotic blends beyond that, such as lemon-cola, cappuccino, apple-mint, and a list of custom blends that is nigh on infinite.
Prices for packaged tobacco range anywhere from $4 to $17 depending on quality, and a variety pack of flavors might cost about $30. The price in most lounges for a bowl of hookah tobacco ranges from $4 to $9 for slower burning leaf or custom blends.
Since hookah tobacco is very wet it must be smoked using a hookah charcoal. Rather than being lit directly, the tobacco is heated with a coal placed on tinfoil or wire mesh above or in the bowl holding the damp mixture. Each bowl of this wet tobacco lasts a long time, usually requiring several replenishments of the charcoal. In the past, among those rituals and traditions surrounding the lighting and smoking of the hookah, or narghile, were strict prohibitions against lighting the tobacco incorrectly--or even allowing a cigarette smoker to light their cigarette off of the hookah coal.
Hookah tobacco is generally only 30 percent tobacco and 70 percent fruit flavoring and molasses or honey. It contains. 05 percent nicotine and most types contain no tar. Because the tobacco is heated, rather than actually burned, studies have shown that there are fewer carcinogens produced in hookah smoke than in other forms of smoking. However , concerns about the length of time smokers generally spend around a bowl of hookah tobacco do warrant consideration, and studies have shown that carbon dioxide intake is actually higher in hookah smoking. Though mellower and less carcinogenic, hookah tobacco is still tobacco and the health risks remain. Hookah tobacco should only be smoked by adults over 18 years of age, and then smoked in moderation.
Taking Inspiration from the 'Hookah', a new way of consuming alcohol that offers an immediate hit with no hangover the next day has been introduced in the United Kingdom.
The new method is known as AWOL, an acronym for 'Alcohol With Out Liquid', and could become a hit in the global club scene due to the euphoric 'high' created when alcohol is vaporised, mixed with oxygen and inhaled.
AWOL machines serve bar customers via tubes and could be seen as a modern version of the 'Nargile' or 'Hookah', which originated in India and became popular in Middle East.
Like the Hookah, the AWOL machine has a central body and a number of tubes running from it. The user chooses which spirit will be used and the spirit is loaded into a diffuser capsule in the machine. The oxygen bubbles are then passed through the capsule, absorbing the alcohol, before being inhaled through a tube. The resultant cloudy alcohol vapour is then inhaled from the end of the tube via a device akin to an asthma inhaler.
Once inhaled, the alcoholic gas goes straight into the bloodstream to give an instant 'hit'. The potent combination of oxygen and alcohol creates a feeling of well-being which intensifies the longer the vapour is inhaled.
These bars are now facing severe business challenges as according to the new regulation in united Kingdom like the ban on smoking bars the hookahs will also be forced out of the public life. How they able to survive it is yet to seen as number of minorities are the one that run such bars.
The body, or govde, of a hookah pipe consists of a curved vessel which holds water. A graceful stem rises from the body and at the top of the stem is a bowl, or lle, which holds the tobacco. From one to several flexible hoses, the marpuc, with a mouthpiece, or agizlik, at the end, are used to draw the hookah smoke down through the water. The hookah tobacco is heated by charcoal and the water filters and cools the smoke. The water gurgles gently, like a woodland stream, and, in the process, makes the smoke smooth and cool.
The word shisha, which is often another word for hookah, comes from the Persian meaning glass or bottle. Hookahs and the culture of hookah smoking is often referred to as hookah shisha. Somewhat confusingly, at first, people also refer to hookah tobacco as shisha, or hookah shisha--and there is a Shisha brand of hookah shisha!
Hookah pipes today come in many styles, from Egyptian to Syrian, traveling, mini and mod models to specialty and custom designs. There is a world of history in the craftsmanship of hookah pipes. Traditional materials used in making hookahs were blown glass, often highly decorated in gold or enamel painting, brass, aluminum, silver, porcelain, clay, carved stone and wood, and leather. All these same materials are used today, with the addition of stainless steel, Pyrex glass, plastic, rubber, and high quality acrylics, among others.
In restaurants and smoking lounges, individually wrapped, disposable plastic mouthpieces are provided for each smoker. Other accoutrements of the hookah pipe and tobacco include the hookah charcoal and metal tongs. The charcoal is typically in coin-sized pieces and each lasts for about 30 minutes in the slow smoking tobacco mixture.
Certain etiquette applies to the smoking of hookah pipes: the water pipes are meant to be on the ground, rather than on a high table or shelf, with the smokers seated on cushions or low seats around it--though in modern hookah lounges, they often appear on tables. Shared hookah pipes are not supposed to be passed, but rather set down after smoking so that the next smoker can take up the pipe at their leisure.
As prevalent in parts of the Middle East and India as delis or Starbucks are in the United States, with one on every corner, hookah lounges and hookah bars, once quite rare in the West, have lately been seeing a rise in popularity here. From the friendly ambience of many of these establishments to the uniquely relaxed mood of hookah smoking and the kid-in-a-candy store variety of flavorful tobaccos available, hookah lounges and bars have a lot on offer.
Much of this upsurge in popularity is due to college and university populations, who find hookah lounges an attractive way to spend quality time with friends in a sober, but socially easy, environment. Hookah lounges are big with sororities and fraternities, but there are older sets of patrons on the scene as well, and a multiplicity of ethnicities and people from all walks of life can be found in various hookah lounges.
Different hookah bars and lounges offer different things to go with the smoking experience. At some lounges, an older clientele comes to play cards, backgammon, or chess, while pool tables, video games, and big screen TVs are on offer for the younger crowd. Many lounges serve food and drink, from Turkish coffee, spicy chai, and honey-drenched bamieh fritters to foie gras and Moroccan spiced lamb, while hookah bars offer everything from wine and cocktails to package deals--including private booth or lounge, hookah, drinks, and appetizers--which run about $125 for four. Rental prices for hookahs in lounges generally run from $5 to $20 an hour, with tobacco prices from $4 to $9 per bowl. Whatever's on offer, people feel comfortable enough to linger, gathered round the hookah pipe. You can find directories of hookah lounges in the U. S., Canada, and Europe at http://www.hookahforum.com or http://www.hookahculture.com, and other sites online.
Someone on staff--often the proprietor--is always happy to help those new to the experience of hookah smoking and guide them through it. Pipes are generally prepared for the patrons with whatever exotic flavor of tobacco they choose. There's usually a hookah coal carrier, circulating through the lounge with coals and tongs to replenish any waning hookah coals.
Music ranges from jazz to hip hop to tablah-backed Middle Eastern pop music, décor from re-interpretations of a Cairo café to tiki hut to sophisticated bar. Whether the people come to play games, drink cardamom-infused coffee, sip cocktails, or just kick back and relax, hookah lounges and bars offer a unique multicultural take on an age-old tradition.

The Palladium in Acapulco
Summary: Before the Palladium years, Acapulco was golden. Now, it is Palladium years and Acapulco is still golden. Gone where the hippies and the songs, now its techno and disco that is 100% Acapulco.
Before the Palladium years, Acapulco was also golden. It was star spangled. It was everything the hippies want on their souvenir photo. The glitterati jet-set here to dance. Elvis Presley came here to dance, and to sing in a silver screen called ìFun in Acapulcoî.
It was fun in Acapulco. Old Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra sang it in a classic Come Fly With Me. It was where Johnny Weismuller, John Wayne, Cary Grant, Red Skelton, Fred McMurrayld and the rest of the Hollywood gang made their hole in Los Flamingos to drink cerveza.
Now, it is Palladium years. And Acapulco is still golden. It still shines as bright as ever in the night, though it is dull in the day. The glitterati made way to the gay, the elderly, the families and the students and their spring vacation. Now, the only vestige of Mexico is the cliff divers, aside from that, it is hamburgers and fries and English speaking cabs.
The Palladium in Acapulco is the best place to go in Acapulco. Gone where the hip and the songs, in its place are the techno and the loud blaring disco that is 100% Acapulco. So donÃt miss it the Palladium in Acapulco, even if itÃs a one-day vacation.
The Palladium in Acapulco sits in a high cliff on the road from Mandara. Atop its perch the lovely view of the Acapulco Bay can be seen on floor to ceiling glass walls. On the mornings it is fabulous. On the evenings it is magnificent. And on sunrise it is simply divine. So donÃt leave early, it not often youÃre going to see the most breathtaking sunrise in your whole life.
There are thousands of reasons that will make you stay. Dancing gets exciting at 11pm (with the help of beer of course). At 3: 30 a silver-costumed devil appears. He gets the crowd going. He dances, does acrobatics and stuff. He may be the highlight of the night but it is the crowd that gets wild that makes you going. So in a few words: DonÃt Leave Early.
The Palladium in Acapulco hosts open bar. With the entrance of 40$, you could get all the drinks you want inside. DonÃt worry about sicking up. The restrooms are prepared for such. And oh, every Thursday itÃs ladyÃs night -only $10 for each lady. But donÃt arrive too late. I hear girls outnumber the boysà 10: 1 .
It is the Palladium in Acapulco that remade it into golden still. It is the Mexican hype. If youÃre going to Acapulco, then take a tour at the museum for the Mexican history, the Palladium in Acapulco for the Mexican spirit.

Buying A Laptop On A Budget Five Important Things That You Must Consider First
Laptop computers are getting smaller and more advanced every day. Fortunately, prices have been coming down as well. While that is great news for consumers, it doesn’t change the fact that for most shoppers, a new laptop represents a large purchase – and most large purchases are made on a strict budget. Fortunately, it’s fairly simple to get the most bang for your buck while making sure that your new laptop has all the features that you need and doesn’t become quickly outdated. The key to buying a laptop on a budget is weighing needs versus wants in five main areas: size, screen, GPU, CPU, and RAM.
Size
For most shoppers laptop size is a matter of personal preference, but when buying a laptop on a budget, size can be a major deal-breaker because a specific size preference may not be in the budget – no matter which features you give up. The most economical laptops weigh in the 6- to 8-pound range. Laptops outside of this range are usually specifically designed to meet other criteria (like an ultra portable at 3 pounds, or a desktop replacement that rivals the power of a desktop), and thus they carry a premium. Stick to the mid-sized laptops, and your small budget will stretch that much further for the other components.
Screen
Screen size and laptop size are fairly dependent on each other, so if you stick to mid-sized laptops, there won’t be many options for the LCD screen. While that may not seem like great news, the 15-inch screen that comes on most mid-sized laptops is more than adequate for most uses; and if this is not sufficient, then for stationary usage it is usually possible to attach a standard desktop monitor to the laptop to increase your screen real estate. If you have a desktop already (as most people do), you probably have a very capable monitor already on your desk; make sure to confirm with your retailer that using a separate monitor is possible on the laptop that you have chosen.
GPU
The video card (or GPU – graphics processing unit) is the component that actually renders the images that appear on the screen. There are generally only two options for this component, but when buying a laptop on a budget you really only have one choice – shared video. Now certainly the other option, a dedicated video card, produces far better results under demanding conditions; but shared video, where the video card actually shares the RAM of the computer versus having its own, is perfectly fine for daily use and is certainly more affordable. It is important to note that a shared video card generally will not play current computer video games, so if that is important to you, it’s probably best to wait until you have more money; or instead use your laptop budget to buy a more affordable desktop that can handle playing a graphics-intensive game.
CPU
The CPU is one area where you can really save some money! Don’t get caught up in the hype of the newest processor on the market; it’s easy to feel pressure to buy the latest and greatest technology so your laptop isn’t obsolete the day after purchase, but with the central processing unit, or CPU, you can safely go a few steps down from the current processor to save some major cash. You likely won’t even notice that you have made a compromise, and this will give you some money to put into other areas of the laptop.
RAM
The RAM, or random access memory, gives your laptop thinking power. If you have ever experienced delays when accessing programs, or annoying freezes when trying to do too many things at once, you have witnessed a computer begging for more RAM. Mid-range laptops often come with 256 MB of RAM. With this was once sufficient, 1 GB is now more suitable due to more advanced applications. But don’t worry – RAM is one area that you can usually upgrade later. If adding the RAM to your system during the shopping process doesn’t make economic sense, you might consider buying more RAM later either online or at a local box store – simply make your laptop purchase now, and save up to add more RAM later. Either way, adding more RAM will generally give you a better overall experience, and you won’t feel as if you bought a budget-conscious laptop after all.
The laptop-buying experience should be fun and exciting, but if you are buying on a budget, unless you shop carefully you could wind up feeling as if you bought an inferior, outdated product. It’s easy to avoid these feelings by simply making sure that you get the things that you really need, and avoiding some of the more expensive but nonessential ‘wants. ’ Most importantly, take your time, do your research, and feel very comfortable with your final purchase. A budget-priced laptop can take you well into the future, without leaving you with an empty wallet!

Hip Hop Mixtapes, If You Dont Have Them, Youre Left Out
Hip hop mixtapes are one of the foundations of the hip hop music genre. It is often through mixtapes that music gets out for the first time. And, it is through these tapes that many hip hop artists got their first start. No matter what your thoughts are as far as who to consider as hip hop’s first artists, there is no doubt that they had a mixtape. First, a definition of what a mixtape is. It is often a homemade taping that is a complication of homemade recordings. In some cases, individuals will record sountracks that are copyrighted music but then change them to fit their needs. But , in the hip hop world, they are a little different.
A hip hop mixtape is the customized recording of DJ’s. In the 1970’s when artists such as Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five were playing in clubs, they would often record their mixtapes to then sell to others who wanted them. Individuals would often purchase a one to three hour tape for as much as $75. Hip hop mixtapes are unique in that they were an expression of each individual’s concepts of the music. Other artists of the time frame that used hip hop mixtapes include Kool Herc and the Herculoids, DJ Breakout, Afrika Bambaataa, and many more. In today’s world, mixtapes have really become replaced by cd’s and mp3 players.
But, you can still purchase a variety of mixtapes. In fact , some of the hottest artists in hip hop right now are putting out mixtapes as recordings of their DJ careers. If you would like to find mixtapes that you can purchase, check the websites. On the web you will find a large amount of the best in hip hop mixtapes. You will find that these are often the best ways to listen to hip hop in general. To find them, all you need to do is to look on your favorite hip hop websites or the websites of hip hop artists and radio stations. You will then have a large amount of options to choose from. You don’t have to go without your hip hop mixtapes!

Getting Syndicated
Over the years I’ve spoken to a number of authors who say they aspire to write a syndicated column. Getting syndicated is a great idea, albeit a challenging one. If you’ve thought of this no doubt most (if not all) of your competition has too. But don’t let this discourage you; while syndication may take a while, it’s still worth pursuing.
There are a number of tried and true ways you can enter this market, there are also a few “back door” methods that might work equally as good. The first thing you’ll need to do however is get to know your competition. For this I recommend that you get a copy of The Editor

Rich Rapper Music Service: Underground Hip Hop Savior, or Underground Rap Messiah?
You’ve probably heard many people say “Hip hop is dead” and “Most of the mainstream hip hop coming out is watered down. It’s just too commercial”. You most lightly have two burning questions: Who are the real underground hip hop artists? and Where can I find the best underground rap music?
These’s no doubt that some of the mainstream hip hop being released is pretty good. After all, these artists generally have big budgets behind them. But have you ever wondered why you sometimes hear new songs on the radio and you absolutely hate them? And after a while, those same songs find a way of growing onto you.
Just to give you some background, one study showed that an ad from a new product or service has to be noticed by a prospect a total of nine times before that prospect becomes a customer. Two out of every three times a prospect is exposed to a new product or service, it’s ignored. That means that a customer has to be exposed to a new product an average of 27 times before he or she will buy. So what does that tell you about the music on the radio?
Quite simply, it means you have a personal musical taste that goes beyond the standard mainstream music on the airwaves. That’s why you fall in love with certain songs the instant you hear them. You don’t normally wait for a song to grow onto you, unless you’re forced to hear it again and again. Think about it. If you’re forced to hear a song that you don’t particularly like for an average of 27 times, wouldn’t you start to know some of the lyrics and maybe even sing along with it? You would, and you might even buy it.
Here’s the slap-in-the-face reality: In our experience, the typical hip hop consumer is only exposed to music that makes it onto radio play lists. It’s not necessarily the best music, but since the labels behind it have deep pockets, they can afford to have their material played over and over again, even if it means using payola tactics to get the job done. This obviously doesn’t make life easier for smaller labels since they don’t operate with big budgets. And in the end, the hip hop consumer is the one that ultimately suffers because he or she might never get to hear some of the best underground hip hop available.
In ‘Rich Rapper’, ( http://www.richrapper.com), our online music service, we bring known hip hop artists together with lesser known hip hop artists. This gives music listeners a wider variety of underground hip hop music to browse through and not be forced to listen to music they don’t like over and over again. With a click of the mouse, you can sample some of the best new underground hip hop CD’s and underground rap downloads.
Amongst music industry insiders, ‘Rich Rapper’ is said to be the most generous rap music store in the world, but only for people who like underground hip hop music. For example , ‘Rich Rapper’ is known to pay artists 90 cents per download, while other digital music services only pay 65 cents, or 70 cents per download at best. There’s a lot to like about ‘Rich Rapper’.

10 Tips for Buying Rap Beats Online
Buying rap beats online is quickly growing and it’s great to use the internet to bring talented producers and artists from different parts of the world together. However , like with any game, there are some players who do things right, and others who don’t. We’ve therefore compiled this simple list of tips for buying rap beats online in order to help aspiring artists out there pick the right website/producers to work with.
We now have four years experience selling rap beats online through our website, www.LaCantinaProductions.com and we hope that these tips will prove useful to you!
1 . music Licenses – Understand them
Know the difference between exclusive and non-exclusive licenses. An exclusive license will grant you the exclusive (hence the name) right to use the beats for your projects.
A non-exclusive license will give you the right to use the beat for your musical projects, however the producer retains the right to sell the beat to other artists too.
2 . music Licenses – Know which one to buy
Exclusive licenses can be expensive, but essential if you’re looking to commercially release an album. If you’re however recording a demo or mixtape, a non-exclusive license is fine, however make sure you check with the producer what rights you get as these will vary from site to site.
3. Prices, don’t pay too much!
Owners of beat sites often get carried away by their big ego’s and will charge inflated prices for standard beats.
A rough guideline for prices follows:
Non-Exclusive Licenses - $15 - $50
Exclusive Licenses - $100 - $1000
Of course , the above prices depend on the producer’s popularity and talent. However , we would not recommend paying more than $1000 for an exclusive license bought online from someone you have never met in person.
4. Websites, only buy from trusted ones
Any proper online business will make sure they have a trustworthy image. Therefore make sure that the site you’re buying from has at least one or two of these:
- Full contact details, phone number, email, mailing address
- Privacy Policy
5. Look for trust symbols
On top of the above, the website should also have third party trust symbols. These are certifications from other companies that prove the website is trustworthy and not fraudulent.
Some symbols to look for are:
- BBB Certification
- Paypal Verified
- Shopping reviews
- Hacker Safety Certifications
- Antivirus Safety Certifications
Also make sure these symbols link through to another page that explains what they mean and how the website in question fits the criteria.
6. Email the site and check if they reply
Crazy, but certain beat sites will not bother doing this. Would you want to do business with someone who doesn’t care about talking to you?
Also, this will prove that the website is a serious online business with a team of human beings running it properly.
7. Look for testimonials
This is not essential, but it’s always good if you can see that others have dealt with the site before and have been satisifed with their beats.
8. Avoid producers who only use a Soundclick/MySpace page to sell beats
A domain name costs less than $15 a year, surely it’s not a good sign if someone doesn’t even have the money to buy that and set up their own independent website?
9. Search for the site on Google
This is a quick easy way to check a site’s reputation. Do any bad comments show up, or anything else unusual?
10. Is the site alive?
Does anyone update it or is it dead? We’re all very busy making beats, but adding some small updates once in a while is within everyone’s reach. Therefore look for blog posts, new beat uploads and even small updates such as changing the current year noted on the site!

5 Best Party Beaches In The World
The idea of partying on the beach is universally appealing, conjuring up images of dancing from sunset to sunrise on golden sands, with bonfires, great music, crashing waves and cocktails in the mix.
From Ibiza to Miami, there are as many types of beach parties as there are party-people looking for a good time. From down and dirty dancing to celebrity-spotting socializing, read on for the 5 best party beaches in the world!
IBIZA, SPAIN
The name Ibiza has been synonymous with the phrase ‘beach party’ ever since the late ‘80’s when the former hangout of hippies and flower-children, metamorphosized into the party capital of the world. Stars, celebs and models all love to get down at the clubs dotted around this picturesque Spanish isle. The Playa d’en Bossa Beach is the longest stretch of beach on the island with its bars and cafés. The far end of the beach (away from Ibiza Town) is calmer, with less people and house music. But for the definitive Ibiza beach party, head to Bora Bora, half way along d'en Bossa beach. Ibiza is also known as a gay-frienDLy beach party destination.
MYKONOS, GREECE
With its welcoming locals and trendy beach bars oceanside, Mykonos is another great place to party on the sands. Head to Paradise Beach Bar, located right on the beach between the palm trees. Here the partying starts early - from 2 pm – and goes on till sunrise the following day. This breathtakingly beautiful island is another favourite destination of the world’s fashionable party-set, so expect to enjoy celebrity-spotting while you dance the night away. Lots of places of historical and cultural interest, plus great tanning opportunities, mean you’ll never be bored while waiting for the fun to begin.
SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI
Where the beautiful people hang out – South Beach offers all the partying you’ll ever need. Although not strictly speaking ON the beach, the numerous fabulous clubs sprinkled along this expensive coastline are so hot that they bring the beach atmosphere right inside. This is where the posh people party, but the good times only get under way from 11 pm, so strolling along the beach, dining out or having a drink in the earlier part of the evening is recommended to avoid arriving too early. Many top model agencies send scouts to South Beach - you never know who might spot you on one of the awesome dance floors. The beach itself is stunning, with white, baby-powder sands caressed by the Atlantic. Not only can you dine here during the day but when the sun goes down you can have fun at the beds on stilts at Nikki Beach.
BLOOMINGDALE AAN ZEE, HOLLAND
This event-venue opened nearly 7 years ago as a beach party for Amsterdam locals. The club has grown to accommodate 2 400 revelers with both in- and out-of-door areas. The setting is one of the most aesthetic on the Netherlands coast. Bloomingdales is renowned for its all-day Sunday parties held regularly throughout the year. The music tends towards chilled, laid-back tunes, perfect for the beach-setting. Top DJ’s are hosted regularly here.
CAMPS BAY, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
The white sands of this beautiful beach are popular throughout summer with both locals and international visitors to the Mother City of Cape Town, South Africa. With bars, cafes and restaurants right along the Camps Bay strip there are always trendy and beautiful people spilling out of these venues on to the beach. While volley ball and tanning are popular by day, sundowners and impromptu beach parties are on from early evening to well past midnight. Enjoy music, fire-jugglers and drumming around the huge bonfires which are lit during the summer holiday season.
So if sun, sand and sea make put you in the mood for some sexy partying – why leave the beach? Head for one of these 5 hot spots and the party need never end!
